Crown-Joinery has done our 20 steps staircase, we are delighted to recommend this company. Very honest people and friendly.

He recently made and fitted 4 sash windows to replace poor quality upvc units on the front of my flat. The replacements had to be bespoke in order to match the arched sashes which still survive on the neighbouring houses. Alex can be little unpredictable in his timekeeping, but he's a nice guy, his price was reasonable and the quality of workmanship is excellent. I'm very pleased with the finished windows and would happily recommend him.

I would highly recommend anyone to use Crown Joinery they build and fitted a lovely main door and 2 sash windows all in hardwood for a really good price comparing it to other companies as i tried London Door Company they almost wanted double the price to use accoya. Crown Joinery manufactured everything while i was away in holiday keeping me updated of the progress with pictures all hassle free. Would definetly use them again in future. A big thank you to Alex and his team outstanding job.

We thoroughly recommend Alex of Crown Joinery. Our new front door and frame is a revelation. We had put up with the old split and cracked one for too long. I took 4 quotes as it was really important to us to get the right door and a good quality one. Alex was realistic from Day 1. Not the cheapest quote but the most explicit thorough and he invited us to visit his workshop too. (Half the price of the dearest quote!!)He built the frame and door after discussions and measurements and kept us us informed. You are only inconvenienced for one day which is the day the beautifully built, glazed, painted door and frame complete with locks is installed. We have already noticed how much warmer our house is and feel that our house looks so much better. We are delighted with the door, his approach to the project and would definitely have him do other work. A cut above the last workmen we had.

I would like to recommend Alex of Crown Joinery, www.crown-joinery.co.uk/ who has just produced the finest example of joinery I have ever seen. We wanted to replace our old front door & frame with an exact copy and to retain the original 1930’s leaded lights. We found the whole experience dealing with Alex a pleasure, from his initial visit to the final fitting of our new door. Alex is a true artisan and takes real pride in what he does. He’s a thoroughly nice bloke and cares for his customers. He even invited me to his workshop a couple of times to see the stages of production as I was interested to see how it’s done. Over coffee he explained how he carefully selects the timber, which he leaves in the workshop for a couple of weeks to make sure it stays true. This is just one example of the level of attention to detail. The door is then assembled and checked at each stage, resulting in a perfect end result. An unexpected surprise was that he fits draught proofing for a snug fit between the door and frame. We have noticed a marked difference in how much warmer our hallway is and traffic noise is definitely less noticeable. I never thought I’d describe a front door as beautiful, but freshly painted and fitted with new door furniture and locks, that’s exactly what it is. Thank you Alex!

We've just had a front door made and fitted by Alex at Crown Joinery and are very happy with the result. The cost was good compared to the major door companies (who we also got quotes from) and we are impressed with the quality of the craftsmanship and the service. He's a perfectionist and so ended up painting additional parts of the door frame to ensure the door looked its best.

if you are looking for a new front door then look up Alex at Crown Joinery on Tyrell Road. Alex and team designed, built and fitted our new door and we are absolutely delighted with the results. It is far better than we could have expected and already puts our neighbours to shame! the cost was more than competitive (especially when compared to big door companies) but what stood out was the personal service and Craftsmanship that went into it.

We just wanted to recommend the brilliant services of Alex Fernandes of Crown Joinery. Before Christmas, we were very badly let down by another carpenter. Alex and his colleague re-hung a door and fitted it to an existing frame for us, and made good the errors of the previous 'tradesman'. He made our property secure, fitted us in during the busy Christmas period and is an excellent craftsman. We wished we'd found him sooner and highly recommend his services.
